Unfortunately, I hear all this too many times in my work and in every part of the world. IGNORANCE - its so much easier and so much more cost effective to operate, use steroids and Botox injections! Moving on to singing and professional use of the Voice. It is quite natural for children to be boisterous at times, but it is up to the parent, teachers and influential adults to set the proper Vocal standards. It is therefor of the utmost importance to provide a solid Vocal atmosphere for children where they can connect with their Vocal Instruments and speech in a very natural and normal way, without stressing to be heard and the need for screaming to get attention. The Vocal habits developed in childhood become the blueprint for the future. just like the rest of the influential Voices in their life if in pre-school and kindergarten they perceive other children or teachers encouraging them to emote - speak loudly, scream slogans, belt and push in order to be heard, that will carry over into their adolescence and adult life.

If from early on they hear screaming, yelling, hoarseness (parents, elders, etc.) they will never really learn how to use their Voices properly, they will wind up screaming etc. If they are in an environment where Voices are always at 'high pitch' levels, they will adopt those levels in their own speech and at very early ages develop vocal problems.
